RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY
Cancellation Policy

An order may be eligible for cancellation only prior to dispatch. Once dispatched the order cannot be cancelled. In case of cancellation the money will be returned to the customer in a timely manner. Any fees incurred during the transaction, however, will be deducted from the refund.

Exchange Eligibility
  • An exchange can only be requested within seven days of receiving or delivery of the merchandise on the mentioned delivery address.
  • There should be no indications on the product which prove that the product was used by the client or anybody else. Any alteration to the original nature of the saree, any customization done on behalf of the buyer, any wrinkles arising out of draping and mishandling of saree, removal of the original price tag, or any sort of scent, body odour, or damage are examples of these indicators.
  • We would like to indicate to our customers that the product specifications listed on our website are estimates based on information provided by our content writers and weavers. Although we try to be as accurate as possible with such details, there can be minor changes in physical properties of the product. Any return, exchange or refund request that arises as a result of such specifications will be finally decided by the company.
  • The invoice should be returned along with the product.
  • The item can only be exchanged for another item of equal or greater value.
  • In case the customer is not satisfied with the colour, size, and quality of the product and wishes to return the product , the returned product will only be eligible for exchange.   • A refund or exchange is possible if a product is visibly defective or damaged, or the customer has received an incorrect product.
  • In case of the above mentioned point, the customer should contact our customer service staff through email within seven days of receiving the product. Our customer service representative will contact you to complete the request. To start the return procedure, our team will need product images that show the fault.
  • Our customers will receive a confirmation email saying that the return procedure has begun. To guarantee a seamless return process, customers are asked to follow specific instructions in the email. Customers will be assisted by Akash Ganga Sarees in logistics for returning the merchandise. Any other method of returning the merchandise will cause the procedure to be delayed.
  • Customers can also exchange the items directly at the shop.
  • When returning an overseas order, consumers are responsible for any additional charges or customs fees that may be imposed. Such fees will be disclosed to the customer ahead of time.

Understanding the handloom nature of sarees

In this section, we'll help you understand how each saree has its own personality and characteristics. This will enable you to decide whether raising an exchange or refund query is necessary. Each of our sarees is hand-picked from some of India's best and most accomplished weavers. However, because of the handloom nature of the product, you may notice certain inconsistencies in the saree. These inconsistencies give each saree its own unique personality.

Overlapping of colours- Many sarees with a contrast pallu may have an uneven colour joining at the point where the body of the saree ends and the pallu begins. As most products are hand-dyed such characteristics are inevitable.

Colour Calibration- There may be a minor change in the colours of the saree when viewed online as compared to when the saree is physically present in front of the customers. This is due to differences in ambient light at various places and phone or LCD colour calibrations.

Extra Threads- It's fairly common for sarees to have minute threads coming out of them. With the help of a little pair of scissors, these strands can be simply clipped.

Creases & Wrinkles- Wrinkles and creases are sometimes present due to the nature of the saree's fabric. We recommend ironing them at a low temperature without using water.

Handwork- Sarees with handwork materials such as sequence, pearls, mirrors, or other types of embellishments are a little delicate in nature. Such embellishments are more likely to come out. This does not mean that the product is of inferior quality. This scenario is inescapable, even with the highest level of craftsmanship and management.

Refund Process

The goods will be checked internally before the refund procedure begins:

  • The product should be returned in its original condition.
  • We do not accept any product that has been used or washed.
  • Original tags and labels should be present on the merchandise.
  • The goods should be returned in their original packaging.

The refund may not be executed if any criteria or requirements are not met.

Refund Timelines
  • When returning the product, the customers should use the original payment method and the original payment bank to handle refunds.
  • After our internal checking team has agreed, we will issue refunds within two working days. It may take up to 7 working days for the equivalent amount to appear in your account.
  • The customer will not be eligible for a refund or exchange if the complaint is fraudulent or without merit.
